Daniel Gilmore

Daniel is a committed health care professional in the Waterloo area and is enthusiastic about improving the function and strength of the spine and joints. Daniel believes strongly in getting the basic fundamentals right, especially when dealing with long standing injuries and complex cases. Daniel has a broad choice of techniques to utilise to correct the biomechanics of the spine and joints. Daniel is also interested in correcting soft tissue trigger points and tightness.
Background
Daniel’s background is in AFL football, where he played professionally for the Fremantle Dockers for seven years. Throughout his life, particularly during his playing days in the AFL and University (Murdoch Universty, Perth), Daniel received regular Chiropractic Care from his father Ross who has been a practising Chiropractor in Perth for 32 years. This allowed Daniel to stay in peak performance and enjoy injury-free seasons. Post playing days, Daniel has coached at state youth level and at national second tier AFL level where he has interacted with sports science, sports psychologists, physiotherapists and dietitians in the role as Head Coach in the NEAFL competition.
Susan C Tyfield

Susan has experience working in family practice, with patients of all ages from infants to the
elderly. She has a particular interest in working with performing artists and chronic pain sufferers,
using long term rehabilitation for improving quality of life. She uses a wide range of treatment
techniques from gentler techniques, such as activator and mobilisation to diversified manipulation
technique, dry needling, kinesiotaping and neurological rehabilitation.
She has over 10 years experience, and follows an evidence-based approach to patient management, based on the best
new research available.
Background:
Susan moved to Australia from South Africa with her partner in 2011. Since passing the CCEA
board exams in 2011, she is qualified to practice both in South Africa and Australia. Her masters
dissertation, which was done through Durban University of Technology in 2006, focused on tennis
players with lower back pain. She is also the sponsoring chiropractor for Team Sydney.
Ben Foley

Ben’s key area of focus is in detection and management of postural distortion patterns and correction of posture and chronic low back pain with Chiropractic Care. Using physical examination, x-ray analysis and rehabilitation methods, Ben achieves long-term changes in your posture and spinal health. Ben has a keen interest in the active population through his interests in sporting injuries, both the diagnosis of acute injuries and management of long term injuries, contributing to the wellness of the patient over time and utilises S.O.T techniques, Diversified Techniques and Soft Tissue Therapy to improve the overall health of the spine.
Background
Outside of the clinical setting Ben has an active interest in the arts, including music, cinema and music production. Ben is a keen squash player and has been successful at the amateur level of AFL football in both Perth and Sydney. He was also Team Chiropractor for the Sydney University Gridiron Team (Lions) throughout 2012, where they successfully won their tenth consecutive title.

Robyn has a small but very happy pilates patient base because of her interpersonal skills and ability to provide accountability within your specific program. You will be quickly progressed through the learning’s of pilates strength and conditioning and you will be given home work through a rehabilitation plan in which compliance is expected to move you forward with a healthier spine.

Dry Needling is a therapy administered by Linda (Remedial Massage Therapist) and Sue (Chiropractor), who have obtained further education and qualifications in the therapy.
Dry Needling is a very effective therapy for muscular pain. It involves accurately inserting acupuncture needles into the muscles and adjacent areas to relieve deep tissue tension and trigger points.
The needles are all sterile, single use & disposable. The needles are left in the area for anywhere between 2-7 minutes. It shouldn’t be painful but you may feel slight discomfort including muscle twitches.
